Thumbelina One-Of-A-Kind Heirloom Tiaras and Headpieces
Thumbelina offers a line of expertly handcrafted headpieces and accessories evoking a sense of style that is individually unique to each bride. They evoke a sense of timelessness without taking away from the timeliness of the moment. Carlyn Nuyda initiates the design process through a one-on-one consultation with the bride to discuss the wedding details and her desires for her special day. From here, a design on paper using a pencil rendering technique is created showing the details of the piece. Once the final draft is approved, the work and execution of the piece begins; paying meticulous attention to the bride’s specifications while ensuring unparalleled craftsmanship. During this process, Ms. Nuyda applies her personal artistry with handmade precision. Each piece is assembled with the finest materials such as pearls from Asia, Murano glass from Italy, Swarovski crystals from Austria, handmade porcelain flowers, semi-precious vintage stones and beads. Thumbelina tiaras and headpieces are one-of-a-kind. They portray the depth of the artist's attention to delicate perfection. As such, they are considered heirloom treasures and can be passed down from generation to generation.
The finished headpiece is engraved with Ms. Nuyda's signature. Upon request, the bride's name, wedding date and special message may also be engraved. Each tiara comes with its keepsake box for preservation.
Thumbelina Heirloom Veils
Each veil is custom made for the bride to coordinate with the bridal gown and headpiece. Thumbelina offers a variety of styles and lengths based on the bride’s specifications or preference. Custom embellishments, beadwork and embroidery are also offered. We pamper our brides by also offering custom veil monogramming, a service that is exclusive to Thumbelina.
Thumbelina Signature Veil, "Borda De Fleur"
Made from the softest French Illusion Tulle, this veil is carefully embroidered at the edges with a pattern of the most delicate flowers and leaves. Fashioned like a Spanish Mantilla, this veil is timeless, romantic, and feminine.
